Imagine a city that's prosperous, thriving, and rich in cultural and ethnic diversity. This is the Toronto we know, but that Toronto is at risk.
Many of our neighbourhoods are cracking under the challenges of poverty, underemployment, the settlement of new immigrants, and lack of services.
United Way of Greater Toronto and the City of Toronto are responding with the Strong Neighbourhoods Task Force - a coalition of corporate, labour,
community and government leaders.
The Task Force will work to strengthen neighbourhoods and keep Toronto a healthy, vibrant place to live.
